The Gulf Coast Minority Based Community Clinical Oncology Program (MB-CCOP) has over 55 open research studies covering all types of cancer. These studies often compare a standard treatment to a new one. Some studies test drugs that have not been approved by the Food and Drug Administration and are available only through a clinical trial.
